Location & Directions
Bovey Tracey is a particularly easy town to reach. The nearest towns are Newton Abbot, Chudleigh, Liverton and the Dartmoor towns of Ilsington, Manaton, Lustleigh, Moretonhampstead and Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Because Beautytime is only a few minutes from the A38 we are also very easy to reach from Exeter, Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Ivybridge and even Plymouth.
Directions: From the Newton Abbot and Torquay direction, head for the A38, following the A382 for Bovey Tracey/Moretonhampstead, which takes you past Stover Country Park and up to the Drumbridges Roundabout (The roundabout that forms a junction with - and goes over - the A38 Devon Expressway). Take the third exit (second exit if coming from Plymouth, fourth if coming from Exeter for Bovey Tracey/Moretonhampstead (A382) and continue along the 'Bovey Straight'. This long stretch of road brings you into the outskirts of Bovey Tracey and a roundabout just after the petrol station. Continue straight over, taking the second exit to continue along the A382. Upon reaching the second roundabout (with the granite jenga sculpture) by the Fire station, take the third exit for Bovey Tracey (B3344 Station Road). Almost immediately you will drive past the turning for St. John's Lane, and then very shortly after the red brick detached building of Beautytime (St. Margaret's House), which is located opposite the turning for Dartmoor Court.
Parking: Beautytime has a small car park for customers on the far side of the building. Though there are parking spaces for a few cars it is quite narrow. The Station Road pay and display car park is a further 200 metres. Follow the road round the the left and you will see it on the right hand side, before the bridge and the mill (Devon Guild of Master Craftsmen).
