What Does The Treatment Involve?
Treatment time is between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on which facial you book. At Beautytime we use Ahava Skincare for our facials which is rich in Dead Sea salts and minerals. It is also hypoallergenic to restore balance, sooth and nourish the skin.
The following is a description of a 60 minute facial: the first stage is the therapist assessing your skin and discussing any requirements with you. The most appropriate facial product will then be selected for your skin type.
Eye make-up is gently removed.
A gentle mud exfoliator, rich in vitamin E, is then applied to the skin which has a softening effect on the skin.
This exfoliator contains spiral grains so it does not hurt the skin. Gentle but efficient.
A cleansing cream is then applied to further cleanse the skin which is removed with water.
A massage is then given to your face, neck and shoulders which eases any tension. Aromatherapy oils are then added which contain coconut oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond, wheat germ oil and glycerine oil.
An intensive hydration mask is then introduced for rich moisturisation. It also nourishes, rejuvenates and freshens, restoring the natural skin balance for smoother more youthful looking skin. The masks unique ingredients include a mineral skin osmoter, Dead Sea mud, Vitamin E (for anti-aging) and green tea extract (strengthens, soothes and is anti-inflammatory).
The mask is followed by a mineral beauty serum which diminishes the depth of wrinkles and removes dead skin cells. It contains bilberry, citrus and orange extract which is rich in vitamin C and moisture.
An eye cream is also applied which softens fine lines and protects around this delicate area. Contains calendula which is both soothing and has anti-inflammatory properties.
The next process is mineral, non-drying toning water which is alcohol free and is used to balance the skin's moisture levels. Contains bilberry, cucumber fruit extract plus orange and citrus extract (rich in vitamin C). Also soothes and tones.
The penultimate stage is a purifying mud mask (which absorbs excess oil, deep cleanses and accelerates the healing of red blemishes) or the intensive hydration mask to re-hydrate.
Finally, a smoothing moisturiser which is rapidly absorbed. It has a high moisture content and contains sunscreen. The high vitamin E content slows the skin's ageing process and it also contains aloe leaf extract.
